Compulsory and Reserve Service Duration in Syria

This tool was developed based on Articles 52-53 of the Compulsory Service Law issued by Legislative Decree No. 30 of 2007 and its amendments.

The tool became available after the Syrian regime approved on 26/06/2024 a special plan for reserve service (retention) to be for a duration of 2 years starting from the beginning of 2026.

This tool does not calculate the duration of reserve service for those who were discharged from Compulsory service and were later called up for reserve service.
